Morrow Insurance Group Background

BACKGROUND

Morrow Insurance Agency was established in 1905 by the late Claude Morrow. In 1938 Mr. Ferd Naughton purchased the agency focusing on all lines of insurance for rural North Florida. Mr. Naughton established Morrow Insurance Agency as a well respected agency based on personal one-on-one relationships and high levels of personal service. Edward Wilson and Robert Andrews purchased Morrow Insurance from Mr. Naughton in 1985 and incorporated into Morrow Insurance Group, Inc. with a focus on developing personal insurance and specialized business programs. In 1987 Edward Wilson purchased an agency in Amelia Island and established Morrow Insurance Group, Inc. of Fernandina Beach. In 1993 Edward purchased Mr. Robert Andrews stock and added Mrs. Joyce Howard as co-owner of Morrow Insurance Group, Inc. In 1998, Morrow Insurance Group, Inc. of Fernandina Beach added a satellite office in Yulee, Florida and will continue to expand in areas that will allow us to offer the best and most convenient service for our clients.
